If you visit Malta you should put this museum down as a must see place.
The website (linked above) will give you a taste of what you can expect to see when you get there. The restored Spitfire & Hurricane are amazing.
Loads of other exhibits, models etc. Books, DVD's & other items are available in the shop.


The Museum is currently trying to fund another new hanger & is always looking for sponsors & donations to help maintain & develop the site.

This is where we can do our bit -

I had a chat with Tony Spiteri from the museum regarding used postage stamps. Last year packets were on sale in the shop but this year (2007) they had all been sold. Money from these goes towards the running costs & development of the site including the new hanger project.
I have volunteered to collect & package used postage stamps & send them over to the museum.

If anyone can help out with supplying stamps please contact me & I will supply my postal address.
